Horseback Riding Lessons at C-Bar Ranch

C Bar Ranch offers private horseback riding lessons for children and adults at an affordable rate. Each lesson is personalized to individual needs. The horseback riding lessons range in skill level, from beginners, with little or no knowledge of horses, all the way to advanced riding lessons for those who know how to ride but want to improve their skills or sharpen their knowledge.

All horseback riding lessons are taught by repetition and hands on training. For beginners, we start in the barn with an introduction to horses and safety, move on to handling the horse in the stall with saddling and bridling, and then graduate to working in the arena.

We require that children be at least 6 years of age before taking lessons, due to a child's natural balancing abilities. There is no upper age limit on adults for riding lessons. However, if you have had a back injury or have any health concerns, you must check with your doctor BEFORE taking horseback riding lessons. A signed release form is required for all participants.

All persons taking horseback riding lessons under the age of 18 are REQUIRED to wear a riding helmet for safety. Adults 18 and over have the option of signing a riding helmet refusal form and riding at their own risk. If you have any questions, please contact us.

The curriculum of the horse riding lessons is listed below for each level of experience.

Cost of Private Riding Lessons: $40 for a one-hour lesson, per person. $80 for a two-hour lesson, per person. .
