Training

It is the opinion of this facility to teach a horse to respect while at the same time training him/her to be an equal, and not an animal who must learn submission. Once the horse learns that he/she is not being threatened then they will on there own accord be willing to submit and learn. In the same respect, the trainer must also be willing to learn from the horse. We have an excellent program for training horses. Gentle methods are used in training horses for riding and enjoyment. Here at C-Bar we believe that horses are one of God's most magnificent creatures and should be taught to trust their human counterparts during their training experience. Starting with weanlings to yearlings, our staff will train them to be caught and haltered, lead, pick up feet, bathed and much more.

Once your horse is two years old and depending on the breed, (some horse breeds are not fully grown until they are three years old and it can hurt their growth/development), they can be trained to carry a rider. The following is a list of items that your horse has the potential to learn at C-Bar's training facility:

C-Bar offers 30, 60, and 90 day training periods

If after 30 days of training, if your horse is still not the horse you want, we'll continue training your horse another 30 days. You choose the length of training and tell us what your goals are. We'll do all we can to get the results YOU want.
